Pet Print Recommendations

  • Coat texture at 0.12mm: Curly and fluffy coat textures (Maltipoo, Great Pyrenees) require 0.12mm layer height to read correctly. At 0.2mm, the texture becomes muddy.
  • Low-poly designs: Print at any layer height - 0.2mm is fine. The geometric facets are the design intent and hide layer lines at any resolution.
  • Color for pet breeds: For realistic breed coloring, use a filament swap at the color transition layers. Most breed files include color callout notes.
  • Scale for display: Default scale is approximately 1:4 life size. Scale to 75% for desk accessories; 150% for floor displays in a grooming salon or veterinary lobby.
